Investment Banking
Qorval Investment Banking is a sell-side advisory practice focused on closely held family businesses and entrepreneurs in the middle market. Each of our partners has at one time been an owner and/or operator of a business. As a result, we have an excellent understanding of the needs of our clients. Qorval's ClientFirst approach is our commitment to helping clients navigate the complex merger and acquisition market. Unlike many investment banking firms who look to generate as many deals as possible, we are a small boutique firm that looks to complete only several handcrafted deals a year.
The Closely Held Business and Entrepreneur
Businesses are built on years of hard work; sometimes even lifetimes. When the time comes to analyze the benefits of selling a business, there are many considerations. In addition to financial considerations, there are strategic, personal, and lifestyle issues. When the layer of a closely held family business is added, the considerations and complexities multiply. We understand all of these issues and complexities, and are there to help our clients work through them.
ClientFirst Business Model
The Qorval Investment Banking business model is based on one premise: To serve our Client. Many firms talk about commitment to clients, but we mean something different-only by serving the Client with distinction will we be successful. Qorval investment banking is guided by the wisdom of a former senior partner that we believe is axiomatic: "There has never been a professional services firm that did outstanding work that did not also achieve outstanding financial results."
There are certainly many other ways to manage complex M&A processes, and many other ways to organize investment banking firms, but Qorval investment banking is specifically committed to a single concept: ClientFirst, and ClientFirst means that we are completely focused on your success.
Operational Experience and Expertise
In order to create optimum value, we rely on our operational experience to overcome deal hurdles. Each Qorval banker has considerable experience running a company, a firm or a practice. Consequently, we understand the levers of value from operational as well as financial perspectives. Few bankers in larger firms have the experience to speak credibly about synergies, of supply chain management, product design/engineering/manufacturing, pricing, customer relationship management, or other levers of value.
